Joni Brink, age 66, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on March 6, 2025, at Aultman Hospital in Canton, Ohio. Born on August 7, 1958, in Lancaster, Ohio, she was a proud graduate of Lancaster High School, class of 1976. Joni dedicated her life to serving others, first as a devoted caregiver to special needs children, and later as an esteemed member of the Giant Eagle team in Massillon, Ohio.

Her naturally caring personality shone through in every aspect of her life. Joni took great pride in her ability to help those around her, and her warmth left an indelible mark on the lives she touched. More than her professional accomplishments, the greatest achievements in her life were her family and the love she shared with them. Joni's heart swelled with pride and joy for her grandchildren: Taylor, Adrian, Kamille, Alek, Kasen, Keegan, Ariana, Avery, Adelyn, Charles, Tiger, and Mateo. She relished every moment spent with them, offering her unwavering support and kindness.

Joni’s artistic spirit flourished through her many hobbies, particularly her talent for crocheting blankets that brought warmth and comfort to her loved ones. She had a passion for sharing her creations with family, ensuring that they each held a piece of her love in their hands.

Faith played an integral role in Joni's life; she loved Jesus and cherished exploring scripture, often enjoying spirited discussions with her cousins about her learnings. Her profound belief was a beacon for her family, nourishing their spirits with love and understanding.

Joni leaves behind her devoted husband, Daryle Brink, her children Mandy Baker and Daniel Baker, and stepchildren Dustin (Amanda) Brink and Michelle (D.J.) Meeker. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, who will remember her fondly for the love she poured into their lives and Her sibling, Robin Hawk-Christian, and her aunts, Linda Mansberger Enmen and Kay Mansberger Dicken all honoring the bond they shared.

Joni's legacy lives on in the laughter and memories she imparted upon her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne Wooten and Faye Mansberger Hawk and her infant brother, Timothy Wayne Wooten.

For those wishing to celebrate Joni's extraordinary life, visitation will be held on March 12, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at the Frank E Smith Funeral Home 405 N Columbus St. in Lancaster, Ohio. Burial will follow the service at Stuckey Cemetery.

Joni Brink will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her loving spirit, her giving heart, and her unwavering commitment to family and faith. Her memory will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who had the privilege to know her.
