Jon H. Hill 43 of Pleasantville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at the Pickering House.
He was a mechanic for Tiki Bowling Lanes with 23 years of service. He was a member of the Lancaster Bowling Association.
Jon is survived by his wife of 24 years, Nickie Hill; sons, Cody Hill and Colton Hill both of Pleasantville, Ohio; brothers, William H. Hill, Jr. of Pleasantville, Ohio and Mark Gamble of Lancaster, Ohio; brother-in-law, Cliff Murr of Oregon; mothers-in-law and fathers-in-law, Nancy and Roger Pullins of Pomeroy, Ohio and William and Carol Claffey, Sr. of Alabama; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Juanna and Eddie Setters of Pennsylvania, Nora and tom Frye of Mason, Ohio, William Claffey, Jr. and Ed Claffey all of Lancaster, Ohio; several nieces, nephews; Special aunt, Ruth Kisor of Lancaster, Ohio; special friends, Chuck Weaver and Tim Golden; and many other River Buddies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Catherine Hill, Sr., sisters, Pamela Murr and Charlotte Sue Hill, and brother, James Hill.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Chaplain Ernie Doling officiating. Caring Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Saturday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
