Joie Jordan-Binner

April 10, 1953 — June 9, 2014

Joie Jordan-Binner, 61, of Lancaster, passed away Monday June 9, 2014 after losing her courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 10, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Robert and Geneva Young.

She is survived by her loving husband, Douglas Binner; sisters Phyllis Young and Roberta (Phil) Pysher; daughters, Melinda Garner (Joe Woods), Jolene (Harold) Austin and Dawn (Shawn) Mongold; step daughters, Tracy and Erin Binner; seven grandsons and many nieces and nephews.

Joie had a passion for gardening, reading and spending time with her family. Her loving and compassionate nature endeared her to everyone she met. Her legacy of love will live on with her family.

Services to be held at Frank E Smith Funeral Home in Lancaster, Ohio. Friends may call between the hours of 6-8 pm on Thursday, June 12, 2014, with funeral services Friday, June 13, 2014 at 1 pm.
