Biography

John E. Woods, 69, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Fairfield Medical Center.

He had been an employee for Carroll Metal and Screw with 20 years of service and a member of Olivedale Senior Citizens Center.

He is survived by his son, Scott E. Woods of Carroll, Ohio; daughter, Donita (Charles R.) Wilkins of Lancaster, Ohio; a grandchild, Kyle C. Woods of Carroll, Ohio; mother, Lucille Woods of Lancaster, Ohio; two brothers, Francis Woods of Lancaster, Ohio and Charles "Choc" (Cindy) Woods of Carroll, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, John C. Woods.

Funeral service will be held Friday, November 19, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCATER, OHIO 43130 with Rev. Craig Cessna of Lancaster Pilgrim Church officiating. Burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio. Friends may visit today from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
