John F. Wilson, Jr., 71, of Columbus, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2011.

John is survived by his wife, Helen Wilson; children, Debbie (Chuck) Hoelscher of Dayton, Joni (Steve) Wellman of Columbus, Julie Wilson of Columbus, Lisa (Jeff) Spiert of Louisa, KY, Teresa (Vince) Ruble of Carroll, Lorie (Andy) Schwingel of Lake Worth, FL, and Larry D. (Kim) McCarty Jr. of Somerset; 10 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sisters, Mary (Scott) Pike of Orient and Pearl Edy of New Port Richey, FL; and brother, Richard (Bertha) Wilson of Chillicothe.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 S Main, Baltimore, Ohio. Burial will follow in Basil Memorial Cemetery, Baltimore. Friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

Donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, American Cancer Society, or Alzheimer's Association in memory of John.
