John (Deere) Shonebarger, 24, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 13th, 2019.
John loved farming and tractors, being outdoors, scrapping, and driving anything on wheels. He never met a stranger and was always willing to offer a helping hand to anyone.
John is survived by his wife, Desiree Shonebarger; daughter, Natalee Shonebarger; mother, Sherri Shonebarger; sisters, Heather (Jason, Sr.) Munsey and Leah Shonebarger; nieces and nephews, Shyanne, Issac, Anthony, and Jason, Jr.; grandmother, Mary Ann Phillips; mother-in-law, Barbara “Candy” Moore; aunts and uncles, Lori (Eric Friebis) Phillips, Joe (Carla) Phillips, Julie (Donnie) McMillen, Chad Knecht, Bob “Bub Bub” and Laura “Mom Mom” Shonebarger, and Steve and Becky Shonebarger Bell; and special friends and mentors, Mike Bentz, Eric Friebis, Steve and Miranda Moore, and Becky Keglor.
John was preceded in death by his grandparents, Junior Phillips, Mary Carolyn Phillips, and Richard and Clara Shonebarger.
A memorial service for John will be held at the Colonial Estates - Clubhouse, 2445 Columbus-Lancaster Road (US 33), Lancaster, Ohio 43130, across the road from Waffle House, towards the back by the park on Sunday, January 20, 2019, from 2 to 5 pm. Potluck, please bring a covered dish or finger foods, memories, and photos to share. Caring Cremation through the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, Lancaster.
