John W. Pryor 74 of Lancaster, Ohio died Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born on February 10, 1938 at Greenfield, Ohio to the late Irvin and Nellie Willett Pryor.
He was a US Navy veteran and a member of Turkey Run Mennonite Church, liked to fish and loved camping.
He is survive by his wife of 45 years, Elaine Pryor; sister, Virginia (Walter) Shifflett of Maryland, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Cheryl and David Wentz of Logan, Ohio; many nieces and nephews, special niece and nephew, Cathy Kendricks and Ray St. Claire and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, , 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Caring Cremation™ has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
