John David King 57 of Lancaster, Ohio died Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at his residence.
He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Army and a retired truck driver.
John is survived by his daughter, Kristen (Raymond) Welch of Lancaster, Ohio; son, Michael king of Lancaster, Ohio; grandchildren, Breanna and Amber; fiancé, Pam Rodgers of Lancaster, Ohio; brother, Ben King of Chillicothe, Ohio; sister, Brenda (John) Dillie of Laurelville, Ohio; nieces, Melissa (Brad) Byers and Michelle (Cody) Jackson; great nephew, Wesley Rossitter; several aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Alice King.
Caring Cremation has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. Burial will take place at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hocking County with military honors at the cemetery.
