John Glaize

December 4, 1954 — December 16, 2018

John F. Glaize 64 of Thornville, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital.

He enjoyed fishing, baseball, sports and was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes Fan. He was a talented cabinet maker and finish carpenter.

John is survived by his children, Shannon, Faith, Stormy Starcher, Cassidy Freeman and Johnathon Glaize; five grandchildren, brothers, Charles ‘chuck” (Dixie Jo) Glaize, Bobby (Monique) Glaize and Dale (Brenda) Mitchell; sisters, Patty (Roger Freeman, Barbie (Bob) Klingler, Nancy (Bill) Bevington and Susie (Adam Moss) Glaize; aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, friends and close friends, Mike and Maria Jordan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Normagene Glaize Sr., niece, Tony Lynn Emrick.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 12:00 p.m. on December 22, 2018 at JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43105 WITH Pastor Steve Bush officiating. Caring Cremation® to take place. Friends may visit Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
