John L. Enmen, age 80, passed away at the Grant Medical Center on March 26th, 2021. John was born to the late Walter and Effie (Wolf) Enmen on January 18th, 1941. He worked for many years as a tow motor operator at Anchor Hockin for over 30 years. always helping others who were in a tight bind. John's biggest passion was always taking care of his family and he treasured his time with them. John will be dearly missed by many friends, family, and coworkers.
John is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Mansberger Enmen; daughters, Shannon (Rene) Van Dijk and Laurel (Charles) Potts; son, Jonathan (Ruth) Enmen; grandchildren, Connor (Erika) Enmen, Sara Van Dijk, Kees Van Dijk, Nina Budeiri, David Potts, Jeffery Potts, Chelsea Enmen, Ashley (Brian) Greene, Seth Skeens and Mary Gibson; great grandchildren, Ellie, Jordyn and Carter; brother, Roy (Shirley) Enmen; sister, Joy Enmen Graves; and several nieces and nephews.
John is preceded in death by his parents and multiple siblings.
A graveside service will take place at 3PM Tuesday, March 30th at Stuckey Cemetery in Sugar Grove officiated by his best friend, Rev. Gary Beatty. Family and friends may visit one hour prior at the cemetery. Arrangements have been handled through the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.funeralhome.com
