John G. Daniels

John G. Daniels, age 76 of Lancaster passed away on July 11, 2023 at the Pickering House. He was born to the late Gilbert and Elaine Cowderoy Daniels in Gallipolis, Ohio on June 7, 1947. He served in the US NAVY during the Vietnam war.  He worked as an electronic communication technician whose various specialties included working with satellites.  He enjoyed visiting family in Australia where his mother was originally from. He was a member of the Masons where he was initiated in Macon, Georgia.  His passion was photography. He was a member of the Point Pleasant Photography Club and he even owned Sparadigm Photography.  Nature and animals in their natural habitat, were some of his favorite photos to take.  John’s beaming personality and love for life will be fondly remembered by all.

He was survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Raylene “Rae” Daniels; step-sons, Todd J. (Lori) Lawrence and Clark R. Lawrence; grandchildren, James David (Hailie) Lawrence, Kendall (Steven) Lawrence Kwasnick, Nicholas Lawrence, Nathan Lawrence, Dakota Raylene Lawrence, and Courtney Callahan Deal; great grandson, Elijah Lawrence, nephews, John R. Byers and Thomas P. Byers.
