Johanna Vandenoever

Johanna Vandenoever, age 95, of Lancaster, OH passed away peacefully on July 14, 2024.  She was born on May 8, 1929, in the Netherlands to father Kornellas Bolle and mother Stoffelina Hage and had 6 deceased siblings. 

She was a widow to her loving husband, Bert Vandenoever, he passed away in 1982. They both immigrated from Holland to Canada, lived there for 13-years, then to Lancaster in 1964. Johanna obtained her high school education in Lancaster and retired from K-Mart after 14-years in sales. Throughout her life, Johanna’s proudest accomplishment was her home, family and friends. She found strength and purpose in her relationships, shaping the legacy she left behind. She will be dearly missed by all who know her. Johanna is survived by a loving family including her daughter Jeanette Voutyras, son Chris Vandenoever, son Tony Vandenoever, son Casey Vandenoever, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

 In celebrating Johanna’s life, may we find comfort in the beautiful memories she has left us forever. Her strength, courage and devotion will be cherished by those who love her.
