JoAnna Powers 87 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away with her family by her side on Monday, December 10, 2012 at her residence. She was a retired real estate agent and a member of the Loyal Order of Moose.
She is survived by her daughters, Betty Boldman and Rebecca Kost; son-in-law, Jerry Nicolia all of Lancaster, Ohio; grandchildren, Tami Flowers, Jeff Flowers, William (Barb) Bixler, Jade (Terry) Keaton, Doug Kost and Jodi (Charles) Sheppard, great-grandchildren, Sara Mullins, Erin (John) Grant, Jacob Mullins, Brandon Keaton, Brianna Keaton, Noah Kost and Alissa Sheppard; great-great granddaughter, Emma Grant and best friend, Barb (Murphy) Burnside.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Frank Powers, parents, Myrtle and Everett Brown, daughter, Joyce Nicolia, sister, Betty Allison, sons-in-law, Fred Bixler and Albert Kost, grandchildren, Tim Bixler, Beth Bixler, Terry Bixler and Steve Flowers and good friend, William Collins.
Caring Cremation has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. Burial to be in Greenfield Twp. Cemetery at a later date.
