JoAnna Hoffman

JoAnna Elaine Bowshier Hoffman, 85, of Carroll, died on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at Rockmill Rehabilitation Centre.

JoAnna was born January 19, 1928, one of five children, born to the late Hazel and Harold Bowshier. JoAnna was a member of the North Congregation Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Lancater. She worked for many years at Anchor Hocking.

JoAnna is survived by her daughter, Carrie A. Hoffman of Aransas Pass, Texas; grandchildren, Earl J. Miller of St. Louisville, Ohio and Katrina E. Roberts of Utica, Ohio; 7 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

JoAnna was preceded in death by her husband, John George Hoffman; daughter, Carolyn J. Miller; grandchild, Quinten Crawford; and her parents.

Burial took place in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan, Ohio. Arrangements completed through the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, Lancaster.
