JoAnn Randolph (nee Hart) passed away on Sat, Apr 20 at Fairhope Hospice. She was born June 21, 1936 in Lancaster, OH to Chester Eaton and Gertrude Malissa (Kline) Hart.
JoAnn attended North Elementary School and graduated from Lancaster High School in 1954. She went on to graduate from Lancaster Hospital School of Nursing in 1957. She worked as a Registered Nurse at the hospital and several local doctor’s offices.
JoAnn was an active member of Grace United Church of Christ in Lancaster. She was involved with several local organizations including OCCL, the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Cancer Society, along with the LHS class of 1954 reunions.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Jerry Randolph, her parents, her brother Robert Hart, and brother-in-law Thomas Acton. She is survived by her daughters Sherry (Jim) Clausing and Lori (Phil) Amspaugh, grandchildren Shane (Jen McElfresh) Clausing, Matthew (Becky Cicha) Clausing, Erin Clausing, Maggie Amspaugh, and Alex Amspaugh, sister Leota Acton and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Grace United Church of Christ, 1185 Pleasantville Rd, on Sat, Apr 27, 2024 at 11AM. Visiting hours will be from 10:00-11:00AM. Nurse’s honor guard ceremony will be held at 11:00Am with the memorial service to follow. A private burial will be held at a later date.
