Joann Parsons 84 of Lancaster, Ohio died Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Fairfield Medical Center. She worked for Anchor Hocking Glass Corp. in the mail room from 1954 to 1991 and later worked for K-Mart as a sales person where she still was actively working.
Joann is survived by her daughters, Sandie (Philip) DeLong and Robyn Dulan; grandson, Ian Dulan all of Lancaster, Ohio; great grandsons, Joshua and Jonathan both of Texas; sister, Penny (Roger) Alexander of Florida; a niece and several nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert V. Parsons, grandchildren, Christy Loya and Jason Cunningham, and parents, Charles and Anna Bell Pickering.
A private graveside service will be held at Forest Rose Cemetery with Pastor Otis Tate officiating . Friends may visit Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130.
