JoAnn Landes

JoAnn Landes, 83, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2013.

JoAnn was born in Lancaster on November 25, 1929, to the late Granville and Georgia (Smith) Stump. She was a 1947 graduate of Lancaster High School. She was a member of the Sixth Avenue United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Olivedale Senior Citizens.

JoAnn is survived by her husband of 66 years, William A. Landes; daughter, Sandra Brunney of Laurelville; son, Stephen F. (Connie) Landes of St. Charles, Missouri; grandchildren, Angela (Marc) Thomas, Christopher (Jen) Landes, Stacy (Shane) Gibson, and Jeff (Tara) Cook; and 9 great grandchildren.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents.

Special thanks to the staff and aides at Rockmill Rehabilitation Center and the staff and Dr. Brian Varney with FairHoPe Hospice. Caring Cremation has taken place with the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, Lancaster. Burial will take place at a later date in Forest Rose Cemetery.
