Jim D. Wilson

Jim D. Wilson 80 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born in Pickerington, Ohio to the Charles and Mary Wilson.

He was a Pickerington High School Graduate Class of 1960.  Jim was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Air Force. He was a retired foreman for Barry Equipment.

Jim was a member of the Baltimore VFW Post 3761 and enjoyed the great outdoors.

He is survived by his loving wife 58 years, Joan Wilson; daughters, Janette Ann (Greg) Turner of Canal Winchester, Ohio and Margaret “Margie” Wilson of Lancaster, Ohio; grandchildren, Heather Turner of Westerville, Ohio, Jeff Turner US Army, Chris Banez of Lancaster, Ohio and Matt Banez of St. Petersburg, Florida; great grandchildren, Griffyn Banez and Bartley Banez; sister, Mary Jane Harper of Carroll, Ohio; nephews, Tim and Mike and cousins, Bob and Anita Davis and also other cousins.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 10:30 am at the Lithopolis Cemetery Mausoleum, Lithopolis, Ohio with Pastor Dave Jackson officiating and the Baltimore VFW Post 3761 conducting military rites at the cemetery.  Friends may visit Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the FRANK E.
