Jim Mattox

Jim Mattox, 53, of Pleasantville, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, December 24, 2016.

Jim’s family meant the world to him and he is survived by his loving wife, Lynette Mattox; dearly loved daughters, Ashlee (D.J.) Palmentera and Kaitlyn Mattox; beloved granddaughter who brightened his days, McKenna Palmentera; soon to arrive grandson, Mattox James Palmentera; mother, Frances Mattox; brother, Ed (Deetra) Mattox; mother-in-law, Linda King; brother-in-law, Michael King; sister-in-law, Lori (Brian Harwood) King; aunt, Diana (Dale) Witte; and nieces and nephews, Marcus and Marissa Mattox and Ryan and Taylor King.

Jim was preceded in death by his father, James E. Mattox, Sr. and father-in-law, Jim King.

Following Jim’s wishes, no visitation or services will be held. Caring Cremation has taken place with the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home, Baltimore. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
