Jerry Locke

Jerry A. Locke, 80, of Baltimore, died on July 8, 2017 at his residence. He was born to the late Phillip Allen and Nellie Elizabeth Marburger Locke in Dayton, on May 10, 1937. He was a 1955 Springboro High School graduate. He retired after 36 years from the Department of Defense at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base where he was involved with air operations with the 160th Air Refueling Group. He was also a member of the New Zion United Methodist Church and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Sarah “Katy” Locke; sons, Jerry (Susan Rance-Locke) Locke Jr. and Thomas P. (Sherri Rosebrook) Locke; daughter, Belinda (Steve) Ervin; grandchildren, Jerry A. (Sara) Locke III, Cassandra (Josh) Martin, Nicholas (Ashley) Ervin, and Joey Ervin; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Allison; sister, Patricia (Ron) Muterspaw; and several nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Michael Locke.

Caring Cremation has taken place through the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 2 PM at the New Zion United Methodist Church, officiated by Pastor Rick Stuhmer. Friends and family may visit an hour prior to the service. A private burial will take place at a later date.
