Jeffrey W. Stanley, 57, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away Thursday, May 14th, 2015. He was born in Nelsonville, Ohio on April 22nd, 1958. He graduated from Lancaster High School and then enlisted in the Marine Corps. He was always very involved in athletics, whether it was a fan, player, or coach for his childrens teams. His hobbies included gardening, maintaining his beloved fish tank, and drawing. He was a very spiritual man who enjoyed reading and sharing the word of God.
He is survived by his children, Debra (Ryan) McMurtrey, Casey (Kris) Stanley, Shelby (Zach) Woolum, and Michael Stanley; grandchildren, Cameron, Sofia, Xavier, and Kyzen; father, Craig (Bonnie) Stanley; and siblings, Elaine McArthur and Tim Stanley.
Jeffrey is preceded in death by his mother, Jayne Stanley; grandmother, Anna Joy; and brother David Stanley.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home located at 405 N. Columbus St. in Lancaster with Pastor Darrell Davis officiating. Burial will follow the service at Maple Grove Cemetery in Lancaster. Friends and family may visit on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
