Jeffrey Darfus

Jeffrey Lee Darfus, 68, of Lancaster, passed away at his home on Saturday, December 16, 2017.

Jeffrey enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed working with his hands and always liked to stay busy. He was the owner of Jeff Darfus Irrigation.

Jeffrey is survived by his children, Heather (John) Hamric, Joel Darfus, Derek Darfus, and Brittney (Sean) Braemer; grandchildren, Gavin Hamric and Kieah Hamric; mother, Mary Jo (Neil) Agosta; siblings, Debby (Buz) Westhoven, Jeannie (Jim) Solomon, Keith Darfus, Jerry (Jane) Darfus, John Darfus, Sally (Jim) Miller, and Tod (Shelley) Darfus; half sister, Erika (Jeff) Hinebaugh; special friend, Peggy Perry-Kuhn; and Julie Darfus, mother of Joel, Derek, and Brittney.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Donald Darfus; brother, Phillip Darfus; daughter, Polly Glick-White; and grandparents, Edna and Lee Darfus and Helen and Lee Beiter.

Funeral service for Jeffrey will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 27th at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster with Reverend Richard Riedel officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster. Family and friends may visit from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
