Jeff Fox

Lancaster - Jeffery Allen Fox ,68, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2024. 

He was born in Lancaster, Ohio March 29, 1956 the son of Mary Lou Fox and the late Robert Fox. 

Jeff was an engineer by trade, and demonstrated exceptional work ethic. Jeff worked with fiberglass in the automotive industry early on in his career, and held various positions in management with ending employment at Anchor Hocking. 

Jeff was known for his sense of humor, playing pranks as often as he could, and joking around. His calming presence and laid back personality meant everyone considered Jeff to be a great friend as he was loved by many. Jeff's love for his mother is one most would envy as he was known for calling and visiting her everyday.

He enjoyed fishing and doing anything outdoors. He was a Buckeye fan, and a die hard Cleveland Browns fan. He loved reading and collecting comic books, going to National Trails Raceway, and had countless trips to Vegas.

Jeff is survived by his children Dakota and Willow Fox and Sabina (Jason) Hosafros; and grandson Tanner Hosafros. Jeff is also survived by his mother Mary Lou Fox; his dear friend and ex wife Traci Fox Kifer; former father in law Lew Wasem; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and furry companion, Zoee; as well as close friends Kelli and Mark Campbell, Candance, Nikki, Paul, Rochell and Shelby.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his father Robert Fox, and former mother in law Roberta Wasem. 

Family and friends may visit from 10:00 AM - 12 noon on Monday, December 23,2024 at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, 405 N. Columbus St. Lancaster, Ohio 43130. A funeral service will follow at 12 noon with Chaplin Mark Linn presiding. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to FairHope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd. Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
