Jeff Chapman 70 of Bremen, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 29, 1954 to the late Walter and Eileen Chapman. Jeff was a retired engineer from Showa in Mt. Sterling, Ohio with 20 years of service.
He had many hobbies but some of them were target shooting and working in his workshop. Jeff liked to enjoy a cigar and a brandy in his down time. He also, enjoyed spending time on his motorcycle. The best thing he enjoyed was spending time with his grandchildren and just being with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Barb; step-children, Brian (Melinda) Eveland of New Lexington, Ohio and Stacy Varney of Lancaster; seven grandchildren, Taylor (Kristen), Zach (Lindsey), Logan (Tiffany), Whittney (Hunter), Alec (Skyler), Kyle and Kaleb; eight great grandchildren, Auda, Axton, Ayan, Luke, Kali, Rowan, Feyre and Mara; brother, Chris (Karla) Chapman of Lancaster; niece and nephew, Hannah and Christopher; cousin, Carol and her daughters; close friends, Shelly, Paul, Kevin, Jon and many other close friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Mark Chapman and step-son-in-law, John Varney.
Caring Cremation® is being handled by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, LANCASTER, OHIO. A Celebration of Life will be held a later date.
Memorial gifts may be given to the Wounded Warrior Project in his memory.
