Jeanne (Cox) Kraft-Nevins, of Lancaster, passed away after a extended illness on Wednesday, August 12, 2015.
Jeanne worked 35 years with Lancaster Optical and was also manager for House of Hearing for many years. She was a graduate of Amanda Clearcreek High School. She was active with Caring Parents, helping other parents through the loss of a child. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her as well as by her family.
Jeanne is survived by her husband, James A. Nevins; son, Mark J. (Misty) Kraft; grandchildren, Michael J. Kraft, Mark T. Kraft, and Alison E. Kraft; sister, Diana Gibson of Sunbury; and half-sister, Marleen Gandee.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna E. (Cox) Miller; father, Joseph R. Mooney; son, Michael N. Kraft; and 1st husband, Paul J. Kraft.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM Monday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster with Reverend George Brown officiating. Friends may visit from 2 to 4 PM Monday at the funeral home. Caring Cremation has taken place and entombment will take place at a later date in the Crestview Mausoleum at Forest Rose Cemetery.
