Jean Wadsworth

Jean E. Wadsworth, age 90, of Lancaster, died on July 29th, 2016 at Crestview Nursing and Rehab. She was born Aug 13th, 1925 to the late Hugh T. and Mildred E. Nicholson. She retired after 24 years as a Time Study Analyst at Diamond Power Specialty. She was a member of Friends Forever, Lady Elks, Olivedale Senior Citizens, and was a founding member of St. Bernadette Church. Jean’s amazing love of life will be greatly missed by all her friends and family.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Robert) Beveridge, Candice (Edward) Stai, and Elizabeth Wadsworth; grandchildren, Wendy and Nic Beveridge, Christopher, Matthew, and Thomas Stai, Ali and Chloé Merkel; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Wadsworth; brother, Jack Nicholson; sister Mary Lou Page; and four legged friend, Libi.

Caring Cremation™ has taken place. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, August 9th from 5PM until 8PM with a Vigil Service at 7:45PM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. A Funeral Mass will take place on Wed. August 10th at 10:30AM at St. Joseph’s in Sugar Grove, officiated by Fr. James Walter. Committal prayers will follow at Forest Rose Cemetery.
