Janice Schneider

Janice C. Schneider, 76, of Sugar Grove, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Pickering House. Janice was born on March 9, 1941 in Sugar Grove to the late Paul and Vivian Deeds.

Janice was a person of great faith and enjoyed her active, lifelong membership at Emanuel Lutheran Church. Janice and her sister, Judy, enjoyed spending time together with the Nimble Thimbles group making beautiful quilts for family and charities.

Janice is survived by her husband, Riley Schneider; daughter, Kathy (Greg) Holland; son, Greg (Cheryl) Schneider; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers; and one sister.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 231 E Mulberry St, Lancaster, OH 43130 with Pastor Mark Raddatz officiating. Burial will follow at Stukey Cemetery. Friends and family may visit at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130 on Monday, August 7, 2017 from 4-8 PM.
