Janet Dew

Janet Anice Dew, of Lancaster, passed away at the Pickering House on Saturday, April 29th 2017.

Janet was an avid dancer, motorcycle rider, and gardener. She was also an excellent cook and loved swing dancing. Throughout her life Janet was a Brownie leader, 4-H leader of the Dew Drops, and was very active at Anglers’ Paradise as the wife of a long-term member.

Janet is survived by her husband, Danny Dew of Lancaster; daughter, Danielle (Dave) Kliemann of Clovis, CA; grandchildren, Clarissa and Joaquin of Clovis, CA; brother, Phil (Pamm) Emrick of Lancaster; and nephew, Donald (Cathy) Emrick of NE.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents, C. Raymond and Cora Emrick; Sister Kathleen Emrick; and brother, Elwood Emrick.

Friends and family may visit on Friday, May 12th, 2017 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. Donations may be made in Janet’s memory to Fairhope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd. Lancaster, OH, 43130.

Caring cremation has taken place through the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home.
