Janet Burgoon

Janet Eileen Crow Burgoon 77 of Pataskala, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital.

She had worked for Rockwell International, reserve police officer for Madison Twp. Police Department and D.F.A.S. in Columbus. She liked to crochet and genealogy.

Janet is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline (Clyde) Nellis of Michigan, Donna Bodkins of Kentucky, Jeanne (Brian) Adolph of Millersport, Ohio and Jeannette (Rob Hayth) Burgoon of Pataskala, Ohio; son, Duane “Chuck” (Crystal) Burgoon of Pataskala, Ohio; grandchildren, Kelly (Trever) Gottschalk and daughter, Kendallen, Stefanie Bodkins, Catherine, Joe, and Adam Adolph, and Matthew Burgoon; many more family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard “Lefty” Burgoon, parents, Archie and Bessie Crow, and brother, Duane Crow.

Funeral service will be held Friday, May 13, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home Chapel, 207 S. Main St., Baltimore, Ohio 43105 with Mike Nartker officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may visit Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
