James "Jimmy" Huber, a spirited soul who filled the lives of many with laughter and joy, left this world far too soon on September 16, 2024, in Baltimore, Ohio. Born on November 25, 1983, in Columbus Ohio, Jimmy was a vibrant presence in the hearts of those who knew him. He grew up a proud graduate of Pickerington High School, class of 2001, where the bonds of friendship formed the foundation of his spirited personality.
Jimmy layed terrazzo flooring for Spectra. Each day brought him joy, as he reveled in the thoughts that he layed a beautiful foundation for the workers at Childrens Hospital. His infectious humor and enjoyable disposition brightened the halls, ensuring that each encounter was marked by a smile and a proud accomplishment.
For those fortunate enough to share in Jimmy's life, it was impossible to forget his love for college sports, particularly his unwavering support for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He bled green and took great delight in anyone who triumphed over Michigan, a rivalry that added an extra layer of excitement to his already vibrant spirit. When he wasn't immersed in sports, Jimmy sought adventure on the water, conquering the exhilarating rapids of the Gauley River in West Virginia. The thrill of white water rafting matched only by his zest for spicy foods, his love for jalapeños knew no bounds.
Above all, Jimmy's greatest pride was his 12-year-old son, William Huber. To Jimmy, William was not just his child but his proudest accomplishment, the light of his life whose laughter echoed in his heart.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter within his family including his mini me son, William Huber, his devoted mother, Jane Huber, and siblings, Elizabeth (Dan) Oerther and Thomas Huber. His vibrant spirit will continue to inspire his beloved nieces and nephews—Skye, Devin, Leah, Ava Jane, Annika, and William—all of whom were touched by his larger-than-life personality.
While the ache of his absence is felt profoundly by those remaining, the memories of Jimmy's enjoyable nature and jokester heart will forever serenade the lives he enriched. He reunites now with his father, Gary Huber, and brother, Joseph Huber, leaving behind a tapestry woven from moments of joy, laughter, and love that will resonate through time.
Jimmy chose Caring Cremation through the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home in Lancaster. At a later date he will be interred in St. Mary's Cemetery at the family cemetery in Marion. Online condolences can be made at www.funeralhome.com
