James Burgoon

February 4, 1934 — January 25, 2018

James C. Burgoon, 83, of Baltimore, passed away at Echo Manor on Thursday, January 25, 2018, after an extended illness and diabetic complications.

James retired from Ohio Paper Board in Baltimore after 44 years of service.

He is survived by his sons, Kelvin (Lois) Burgoon and Ryan (Laura) Burgoon; grandchildren, Keri Burgoon, Nathan Burgoon, Alison Burgoon, Mollie (Adam) Woodworth, and Matt Burgoon; great grandchildren, Kellin, Banjo, Rubylou, and Juliet; and sister, Anna Burgoon.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Roshon) Burgoon; parents, Paul and Myrtle Burgoon; brothers, Roger and Joe; and sisters, Jilda and Judy.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Baltimore. Family and friends may visit from 5 to 7 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of James to the American Diabetes Association or Trinity United Church of Christ, Baltimore.
