James “Old Buck” Buckholz 65 of Millersport, Ohio passed away Monday, July 30, 2012 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation-Pickerington.
He was a Vietnam US Air Force veteran. He was a member of the Millersport Covenant Church, American Legion Post 637, Boy Scouts Chief Tarhe District and received the District Award of Merit for Service for the District.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Margaret C. Buckholz; daughter, Amy Jo Buckholz; son, James T. Buckholz; grandson, James Lawrence Michael Albert all of Millersport, Ohio; special friends of the family, Pamela, Zachary and Shyanne.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Opal Buckholz and step-mother, Ida Mae Buckholz.
Funeral service will be held Friday, August 3, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43105 with Pastor Steven Bush officiating. Burial to follow in Millersport Cemetery with the Millersport American Legion Post 637 conducting military rites at the cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
