James Beatty

James Beatty, 75, of Lancaster, formerly of Lompoc, California, died on Tuesday, October 28, 2014. James was born on November 26, 1938, in West Newton, Massachusetts to the late George and Anne Manning, Sr..

James enjoyed volunteering with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. He was also a member of the Carmelites.

James is survived by his wife of 21 years, Mary Lou Beatty; sons, Carl Edward and David Edward; and brother, Richard Beatty.

James was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, George Beatty, Jr.

A funeral Mass for James will be held at 11:00 am Monday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 1343 Wheeling Rd, Lancaster, Ohio 43130 with Father Thomas Kessler as celebrant. Caring Cremation has taken place with the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, Lancaster.

Donations can be made in memory of James to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, 424 Locust St, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
