Linscott
Jack H. Linscott 83 of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away the morning of April 12, 2012 at is residence. He was born on March 27, 1929 in Lancaster, Ohio and a graduate of South High School in Columbus.
Jack was a Korean Conflict veteran serving in the US Army. He was a retired beverage salesman for over 50 years with Metro Bottling and C and B Beverage Co.
He was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Moose Lodge #955, and American Legion Post #11. In the summer he spent many evenings out on the lake fishing and in the fall hed root on the OSU Buckeyes. His favorite place to be was home with his wife of 29 years, Jayne.
He is survived by his wife, Jayne Linscott; daughters, Candy Paulucci of Lancaster, Ohio and Tammy (Brad) Brewer of Kettering, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Gisele Linscott of Baltimore, Ohio; step-children, Sheryl Sharp of Lancaster, Ohio, Steve (Martha) Shaver of Brooksville, Florida and Stacey (Alan) Bossio of Highland, Michigan; 25 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Della Linscott, son, Andy Linscott and son-in-law, Tom Paulucci.
Funeral service will be held Monday, April 16, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Rev. Roger Quay officiating. Burial to follow in Betzer Cemetery, Carroll, Ohio with Lancaster Veterans Burial Detail conducting military rites at the cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
