Jack Lewis Knox 74 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 in Circleville, Ohio. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Marine Corp. and a general contractor. He loved motorcycles, fishing, playing poker and his grandchildren.
Jack is survived by his fiancé, Jen Unger of Circleville, Ohio; sons, Jeff (Carisa) Knox of Lancaster, Ohio, Scott (Mary) Knox of Columbus, Ohio, Bryan (Rachel) Knox, Ken (holly) Knox all of Lancaster, Ohio, Jason (Jodi) Knox of Millersville, Pennsylvania and Erik (April) Knox of New Lexington, Ohio; many grandchildren, several great grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Parkman of Lancaster, Ohio and Ginger (Gary) McMullen of St. Marys, Ohio; brother, Jim (Linda) Knox of Pickerington, Ohio; many nieces and nephews and canine companion, Izzy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Betty Knox, brother, Dick Knox, niece, Heather Collins and nephew, Bruce Knox.
Caring Cremation® is being handled by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. There will be a Celebration of Life at the Terry Webb VFW post 1516, 116 Perry St., Lancaster, Ohio 43130 on Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 3-7 p.m. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
