Ivor G. Rutan Hollywood, 78, of Lancaster, formerly of Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2011.
Ivor was an amateur radio enthusiast and an avid fisherman. He retired from North American Rockwell after 35 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
Ivor is survived by his wife, Mary Rutan; children, Vickie (Ronald) Copley of Thornville, Ricky Rutan of California, Marla Longworth of Columbus, Brian Rutan of Columbus, Steve (Trisha) Winner of Centerburg, Douglas (Charlotte) Winner of Lancaster, and Leigh Winner of Lancaster; thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Simms of Florida; and brothers, Eugene Rutan of Obetz and Bradley Rutan of Columbus.
Ivor was preceded in death by his parents, Lesley and Inez Rutan and brothers, Raymond and Gerald Rutan.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lancaster. Friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimers Association in Ivors memory.
