Imogene McCoy

Imogene "IM" McCoy, age 86 of Baltimore, died March 12, 2017 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitaion. She was born to the late Commodore Mitchell and Virgie Totten Bowling in Jeriel , KY on June 23rd, 1930. She was a member of the Lancaster Church of Christ, who greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be greatly missed.

IM is survived by her children, Carolyn (Walt) Vannatta, Danny (Sandy) McCoy, Lisa McCoy, Joseph Mitchell (Pam) McCoy; grandchildren, Jeff (Robin) Vannatta, Mike (Staci ) Vannatta, Patricia (John) Haughn, Kristi (Kyle) Farmer, Sara (Lee Godenschwager) McCoy, Rob (Audra) Wright, Lucas (Kristina) Wright, Jonathan Wright, Karli George, Jesse(Sarah) McCoy, and Rachel McCoy; thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

IM was preceded in death by her husband, Hager R. McCoy; parents; four brothers,; and six sisters. A funeral service will take place on Friday, March 17th at 10:30AM at the Lancaster Church of Christ, 1779 Granville Pike Lancaster, OH officiated by Val Roxby. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Garden. Family and friends may call from 2PM until 4PM and 6PM until 8PM on Thursday at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 S. Main St. Baltimore, OH 43105 and one hour prior at the church on Friday. Memorials can be made in IM's name to the ROXBY SCHOLARSHIP FUND, 1779 Granville Pike. Lancaster, OH 43130.
