Ila June Conkle

Ila June Conkle, 72, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at the Pickering House.

June loved cards, fishing, bingo, Miami Dolphins and Buckeye football, Westerns (John Wayne), doing all things with her grandkids and great grandkids. And just being the best Mom her 5 girls could have ever asked for. She was also an avid Olivedale volunteer, loved gardening, butterflies, frogs, taking walks, and looking for pennies.

June is survived by her daughters, Rainny Smith, Tammy Smith, Jenny (David) Francis, Misty (Jason) Beekman, and Beth Callahan; siblings, Lonnie (Betty) Conkle, Jerry (Morgan) Conkle, and Phyllis Holtz; and countless grandchildren and great grandchildren.

June was preceded in death by her parents, John Conkle and Doris Marie Cramblit; and siblings, Janet Bradford, Karen Lavey, and Jean Alexander.

Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm on Monday, March 18th at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, 405 N Columbus Street, Lancaster, Ohio 43130. Caring Cremation will follow the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of June to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
