Ila "Jean" Welty

Ila “Jean” Welty, age 62 of Thornville, passed away on January 12, 2016 at her residence. She was born on March 8th, 1953 to the late Clyde and Maude Fyock Snyder. Jean worked as an assistant manager at UDF and was a member of the Reynoldsburg Church of the Nazarene. She adored Elvis and loved spending time with all her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Jean is survived by her children; Angel (Mike) Spencer, Tommy (Lisa) Stevens, John Scott, and Milo (Billy Joe) Scott; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother Clyde (Sandra) Snyder, Bob (Pam) Snyder, George Snyder and Jimmy Snyder; sister, Peggy (Chuck) Hamilton; several nieces and nephews; and mother-in-law, Vera Wehr.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Garry Welty, brother, Charlie Snyder, and close cousin, Barbara Carpenter.
