Ila (JoAnn) Planck 75 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Fairfield Medical Center. She enjoyed being with her family, crocheting, art and crafts, fishing, and boating.
JoAnn is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Denise A. (Rick Cochran) Bauer of Thornville, Ohio and Diana E. Jones of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Marc W. Bauer, Stephen R. (Crystal) Planck, Jr., Lauran E. (Daniel) Duble, Dorothy C. Planck, Joanna M. (Jake) Kirk, Rebecca E. Planck, John A. Planck, and Shane Michael Irvin; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Teran, Aiden, and Rylan; sister, Evarae Bauer of Lancaster, Ohio; several nieces and nephews, and daughter-in-law, Lisa Highland-Planck.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Dennis A. Jones and Stephen R. Planck, Sr., grandson, William Highland Planck, parents, Raymond and Lenora Moore, step-mother, Virginia Sniff, former husband, Arthur Ray Planck and brother, Gerald Moore.
Funeral service will be held Friday, February 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Chaplain Karl Hartmann officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Mifflin Twp. Friends may visit Friday from 12-2 pm at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be given to FairHoPe Hospice and Palliative Care, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130 in her memory.
