Howard Jasper

Howard H. Jasper, 72, of Baltimore, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at his residence.
Howard was born March 8, 1940 in Columbus OH to the late Horace and Loumetta Snyder Jasper. He was a member of the Baltimore VFW and was a retired Chief in the United States Airforce.
Howard is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Jasper of Baltimore; daughter, Melissa (Paul) Smith of Mt. Vernon OH; sons, James (Tina) Jasper of Baltimore, Joseph (Marie) Jasper of Bremen, John (Sarah) Jasper of Palmer, Alaska ; grandchildren, Michael (Rachel) Jasper, Gary Durtschi, Jonathon Jasper, Kristopher Durtschi, Corey Jasper, Jamie Jasper, Juliet Jasper, Rebekah Jasper, Dakota Durtschi, Anastasia Jasper, Samantha Jasper, Petra Jasper; great grandson, Colin Jasper; brothers, Robert Jasper of Columbus OH, Ralph Jasper of Biloxi, Mississippi, Harry (Diane) Jasper of South Carolina; brother in law, Lonnie (Dawn) Looman; several nieces and nephews. Howard was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Howard H. Jasper Jr.
Funeral service will be held Friday 1:30 pm at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 S. Main St., Baltimore OH 43105, with Pastor Ed Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens where the Wright Patterson Base Honor Guard will conduct military graveside services. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
