Holly Bope

Holly Elaine Bope, age 46, of Rushville, passed away on Monday, December 19th, 2011 at the Pickering House. She was born in Lancaster, OH on October 10th, 1965 to her parents Herbert David and Doris Mack Shiltz. She is a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church where she was in the St. Peter’s Hand Bell Choir and the Mary Circle. She worked for Dr. Marilyn Kosier as a physicians scribe. She enjoyed crafts, homemaking, and was involved as a 4-H advisor for several years. She was a wonderful wife and a loving mother who enjoyed attending all of her children's activities.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert J. Bope of Rushville; daughter, Courtney Bope; son, Colin Bope, both of Rushville; parents, David and Doris Shiltz of Sugar Grove; sister, Jennifer Hickman of Dublin; and several nieces and nephews.
A service will take place on Friday at 10:30AM at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church officiated by The Rev. Dr. Emil H. Klatt the III. Burial will follow the service at West Rushville Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Thursday at the FRANK E.SMITH FUNERAL HOME from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8PM. Memorials can be made in Holly's name to the Pickering House 282 Sells Rd. Lancaster, Oh 43130.
