He was born on April 9, 1930 in Louisa, KY to the late Bill and Opal (Marcum) Clevenger. He was preceded in death also by his son, Patrick C. Clevenger, brother, Bill Jim Clevenger and sister, Betty Miller.
He served his country during the Korean Conflict in the USMC and was a member of the D.A.V. He was retired from Crown-Zellerbach with 30 years of service.
Henry is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lorraine (Bishop) Clevenger; son, Michael (Jody) Clevenger of Logan, OH and daughter, Sandra J. (Scott) Kull of Amanda, OH; four grandchildren, Hollie (Matt) Aneshansley, Natalie Kull, Jessica (Brad) Drummonds, Angela (Justin) Hutchinson; six great-grandchildren, Andrew Whitt, Jerra, River, Kai, Swayzie, Luka, and on one the way.
The world is a little colder without his presence, smile and gentle character. He will remain a Hero to his family. Ooh Rah!!

Caring Cremation® has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. A private graveside service will be held at Carroll Cemetery with the Lancaster Veterans Burial Detail conducting military rites at the cemetery.
Memorial gifts may be given to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd. SE, Newark, Ohio 43055-9925 in his memory.
