Helen L. Steele 89 of Pleasantville, Ohio passed away Monday, November 18, 2013 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was born on January 15, 1924 in Millersport, Ohio.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sheila (William S.) Gordon of Pleasantville, Ohio; grandson, Shane (fiancé Susan Kelly) Gordon of Columbus, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Jerri Steele of Millersport, Ohio and Dorothy Jourdon of Lancaster, Ohio; several nieces, nephews, friends and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Judson H Steele, parents, Russell and Marguarite Moninger, sister, Elizabeth Moninger, aunt, uncles and a cousin.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasantville United Methodist Church with Rev. John W. Snook officiating. Burial to follow in Millersport Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43105 and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
