Helen Mae Robberts 79 of Thornville, Ohio went to be with her Savior on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Fairfield Medical Center.
She was a member of Church of Good Hope and Olivedale Senior Citizens Center.
She was married on February 4, 1955 to Carl E. Robberts for 56 years; children, Brenda (Dick Mentz) Swyers of Lancaster, Ohio, Duane (Pam) Robberts of Thornville, Ohio, and Doreen Evans of Lancaster, Ohio; grandchildren, Shane, Luke, Zack, Kendra, Carleen, Cassandra, Jimmy, and Dalton; great grandchildren, Trevor, David, Traden, Haley, Logan, Jalayna, Larissa, and Eleyna; sisters, Kathryn (Dale) Liller of Berlin Center, Ohio and Ruth (Rev. Lawrence) Sullivan of Rockbridge, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Jo Ann (John) Estep of Logan, Ohio; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her son, Leon Owen Robberts, parents, Rev. Clyde and Ruby Watters, Sr., brother, Clyde Watters, Jr., sister, Adrian Pendleton, infant sister, Margaret Watters, son-in-law, James “Jim” W. Evans, Jr. passed away on October 2, 2011, and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Violet and Dexter Robberts.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Pastor William Syfert officiating. Burial to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may visit Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
