Helen Creed

Helen L. Creed, age 90, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Pickering House in Lancaster. Helen was born February 5, 1922 in Baltimore to the late Wilson H. and Mabel Tussing.

Helen was a member of the Millersport United Methodist Church; 1939 Graduate of Liberty Union High School; 1944 Graduate of The Ohio State University; taught school for 26.5 years in Junction City, Pickerington, Pomroy, and Walnut Township Schools; American Association of University Women; OSU Alumni Club; Fairfield County Retired Teachers ; Perry County Retired Teachers; Eastern Star.

Helen is survived by her son F. Frank Creed III of Millersport; brother, Elemer (Bertie) Tussing of Hilliard; sister, Mary M. Boso of Millersport; sisters-in- law, Mary Lou Creed of Lancaster and Emma Tussing of Baltimore; several nieces and nephews.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband Fred F. Creed Jr.; brothers, Richard , Roy, Howard, Edward Leroy, and Henry Tussing.

Funeral service for Helen will be Monday, November 5, 2012 in the chapel of the JOHNSON - SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 South Main St., Baltimore OH 43105, at 10:30 am with Pastor Jerry Wiles officiating. Burial will follow at Millersport Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 1 until 4 pm at the funeral home.
