Harry K. Nauman, 86, of Lancaster, passed peacefully after a short illness on Friday, December 26, 2014, at the Pickering House. He was born April 13, 1928, to Leona and Rolland Nauman
Harry graduated from Lancaster High School in 1942 and was in the U.S. Army of Occupation in Japan after World War II. He was a sign painter by trade for over 60 years and local business owner. Harry was a dedicated family man and an avid golfer and traveler.
Harry is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy L. Nauman; sons, Tom (Nancy) Moore of Black Diamond, Washington, Allen (Susan) Moore of Bothell, Washington, Michael (Jeri) Nauman of Lancaster, David (Donna) Moore of Lancaster, and Patrick Nauman of Lancaster; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ralph Nauman; and sister, Phyllis Tobin.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster. Friends may visit from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service.
