Harold Wolfinger

Harold Wolfinger, age 85, of Lancaster, died July 7, 2014 at the Fairfield Medical Center. He was born in Lancaster on August 1st, 1928 to his parents John and Lulu Eveland Wolfinger. He retired from the Lancaster Municipal Gas Department. He is a member of the Trinity Sponagle Lutheran Church. He enjoyed his detail oriented woodworking, gardening, and loved spending time with his family. Harold will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Lucille Wolfinger; son, David (Jo Ann) Wolfinger; daughter, Rebecca (Tim) Williams all of Lancaster; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Russell, Elmer, and Robert Wolfinger; sisters, Dorothy Miller, Emma Bell Fosnaugh, Gladys Pickett, and Jean Rutter; and half brothers, Paul and Frank Price.
A service will take place at Trinity Sponagle Lutheran Church on Friday at 10AM, officiated by Rev. Danny Koch. Burial will follow the service at the Trinity Sponagle Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 2 until 4PM and 6 until 8PM on Thursday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the Church.
