Harold Walters

Harold E. Walters, 86 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Fairfield Medical Center.

He was a retired supervisor at Anchor Hocking Glass Corp., member of the American Legion Post #11, VFW Post #1516 and Gold Prospectors Association of America.

Harold is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ethel; daughter-in-law, Sharon Beck of Lancaster, Ohio; grandchildren, Amy (Thomas) Mahon, Randy Beck all of Lancaster, Ohio and Shawn Blackston of Middletown, Ohio; great grandchildren, Abigail Mahon, Grace Mahon, Shawna Blackston along with other great grandchildren; brothers, Dewey (Darlene) Walters of Athens, Ohio and Bill (Deloris) Snoke of Lima, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Gladys Walters and biological mother, Beulah Pratt, son, Robert L. Beck, grandson, Bobby Beck, Jr. and brother, Robert Walters.

Funeral service will be held Monday, December 31, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL with Rev. Roger Quay officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens with the Lancaster Veteran Burial Detail conducting military rites at the cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
