Harold Stover

Harold J Stover, age 71, of Carroll went home to be with his “Sweet Jesus” on Friday, November 27,
2015, at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. He was born October 8, 1944, in Athens County to
the late Charles B. and Essie Stover.

He retired after 36 years of service from Diamond Power in Lancaster, OH and was also a member
of USW local 4708. He was currently an employee at Walmart in Canal Winchester, OH and is a
Veteran of the United States Army 1962-66.

Harold is survived by his wife, Ida of 48 years and one son, Harold (Jeanna) Stover Jr. of Jacksonville, FL. Two sisters, Judy Jarus of Cleveland and Patty (Larry) Matheny of Lancaster. Three brothers,
Elmer of Athens, Donald of Millfield and Ronald of Greenfield, IN.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings, Erma Metcalf and Charles F. Stover.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Wednesday at River Valley Life Center, 2190
Coonpath Rd., Lancaster, OH 43130 with Pastor Paul Bishop officiating. Friends and family may visit
from 4 to 8 pm on Tuesday at the church and one hour prior to service at the church. Burial is in
Greenlawn Cemetery in Nelsonville, OH. Funeral services are being handled by Frank E. Smith
funeral home.
